Westchester Marriott

Mostly fine, but they don't really care about privacy. When I checked in at 4:30pm, housekeeping literally tried barging in at 5pm (and were only stopped by the latch lock). Front desk only said "whoops, did you have the do not disturb sign on? They were probably working off of a list from 8am." The day of checkout, do not disturb sign up this time, they still tried to enter at 10:30am (checkout is noon). Front desk's response was essentially "whoops, what can you do?" and offered a Marriot points worth 1/5 of a night after asking what I wanted them to do. In neither case did they say "that shouldn't have happened" or "I'll tell my manager so that we can make sure that won't happen again" or anything that signaled that anything will actually be done about housekeeping just barging into occupied rooms. The fact that it happened twice over the period of 2 days shows that they didn't even consider the first complaint.

This is a great hotel in a very convenient location right off Rt. 287 near the Tappan Zee bridge. The decor is very tasteful and appears to be recently renovated. Best of all is the service - we checked in late on Christmas Eve and were warmly greeted by Alejandra, making us feel 'right at home.' This was an unexpected treat after a very long day! And the wait staff working on Christmas morning were equally great. Kudos!

Room was nice, fire alarm did constantly go off sporadically throughout the night which didn’t resolve till almost midnight. Staff refuse to mention it the next day during checkout. Food from M club was good for breakfast and snacks during evening time.

This has been one of the worst hotel experiences my wife and I have ever had. The recurring billing problems and lack of accountability from management were not minor inconveniences, they were serious enough to raise concern. The pattern of financial inconsistencies creates the impression that revenue is prioritized over guest care. Future guests should be extremely diligent in reviewing every charge before and after checkout.

We’ve stayed for xc races a number of times. We’ve always received great service & clean rooms. The beds are very comfortable. I only wish they’d offer tea as well as complimentary coffee. Tea is no effort on their part but a significant population of the world are tea drinkers.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean, front desk staff were polite, and I thought the welcome cookies and juice were a nice touch. Loved the starbucks on site too.

Beautiful hotel. Clean room and comfy bed. I was so impressed with the M lounge hors d’oeuvres hours. Who would have known that deviled eggs, shrimp cocktail and little cornchicons would make my freaking night! I love this place.

Shout out to Kevin, the manager, who was very helpful in setting up a last minute group event with their golf simulator room for a group of soldiers and their families! The ping pong table that was also included was a big hit! Everyone had a great time!
